IDT's 9FGV1000 series PhiClock programmable clock generators have two select pins to allow for hardware selection of the desired configuration, or two I²C bits to allow easy software selection of the desired configuration. The user may configure any one of the four OTP configurations as the default when operating in I²C mode. Also, four unique I²C addresses are available, allowing easy I²C access to multiple components.
The 9FGV1001 provides four non-spread-spectrum copies of a single output frequency and two copies of the crystal reference input. The 9FGV1004 provides one copy each of two integer-related frequencies, two copies of a fractional or spread-spectrum frequency, and two copies of the crystal reference input. The 9FGV1005 provides two copies of a single non-spread spectrum output frequency and one copy of the crystal reference input. The 9FGV1006 provides two copies of a of a single integer, fractional, or spread-spectrum output frequency and one copy of the crystal reference input.
